Rose brings leadership, structure, and a client-first mindset to her work, helping small business owners understand their finances and make confident, informed decisions.

Rose didn’t originally envision a career in accounting, but she found her way into it through a natural curiosity for numbers and problem-solving. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Marketing and an Associate’s Degree in Economics from Johnston & Wales University. Her career began in retail and inside sales, and the pandemic gave her the opportunity to become a data analyst, where she discovered her love for numbers and the stories they tell.

Since joining Alloy Silverstein in 2024, Rose has grown into a leadership role within CAS, expanding from transactional work to advisory-focused services and insights. She helps clients see their business as a whole rather than just financial reports, providing guidance that offers clarity and supports long-term success. Her clients appreciate her ability to translate accounting language into practical terms.

“I love getting to work directly with clients and building real relationships. Seeing clients face-to- face and knowing the people behind the businesses makes the work more meaningful,” she says.

Originally from Brooklawn, NJ, Rose now resides in South Philadelphia with her husband, Justin, whom she married in October, and their three cats, Thor, Heimdall, and Tyr. In her free time, Rose enjoys hiking, trying new foods with friends, and practicing yoga. She has been an active yogi for the past 12 years. She also is a certified scuba diver and previously competed as a national high jumper and Australian Rules football player.

Zach earned his Associate’s Degree from Rowan College at Burlington County and has developed a knack for bookkeeping and numbers that was sparked by an enthusiastic accounting professor. Before joining Alloy Silverstein, Zach served as the Office Manager and Bookkeeper at a local landscaping, arborist, and tree removal company—an experience that ignited a lasting appreciation for the tree service industry. “I know everything about it,” he shares, “from job pricing to rigging a fall line.”

At Alloy Silverstein, Zach is known for his responsiveness, client-focused mindset, and ability to pinpoint gaps in financial understanding. His clients appreciate that he’s accessible, detail-oriented, and eager to help them make sense of the numbers. “We have skills that not all business owners have,” Zach says. “By handling the finances behind the scenes, we free them up to focus on their fieldwork.”

Zach believes success in his role comes down to three key qualities: attention to detail, strong communication, and knowing when to ask for help. He thrives on learning how different industries operate and finds satisfaction in keeping his clients organized, efficient, and supported.

Originally born in Mount Holly, NJ, Zach now lives in Shamong, NJ, and loves being surrounded by nature and woods. Outside of work, he’s an avid fan of reality TV—especially Survivor and Big Brother—and stays active flying freestyle FPV drones with an interest in cinematic videography. He also snowboards with his dad in the winter and rides Onewheels the rest of the year.

Most recently, Zach celebrated a major life milestone: marrying his wife Chelsea on June 13, 2025. Congratulations, Zach!

Heather Sherrill brings over 20 years of experience in finance and financial planning to Alloy Silverstein Financial Services. Originally from the Midwest, she earned her BSBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri-Columbia before settling in New Jersey.

Early in her career, Heather worked as a municipal bond trader and broker. After taking time off to focus on her family, she reentered the financial services field as an Assistant Financial Planner at a South Jersey firm, where she worked for 10 years. Her passion for education also led her to teach high school business classes and tutor elementary students in English Language Arts.

In June 2024, she joined Alloy Silverstein as an Associate Financial Planner and Wealth Management Assistant. Working alongside Ronald V. Donato, Director of Financial Services, Heather applies her strong customer service, research, and analytical skills to support clients with tax-smart retirement planning, investment strategies, and overall financial wellness. Heather holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and is licensed in New Jersey for life, accident, and health insurance.

A Mullica Hill resident for 20 years, she enjoys time with her husband of 30 years and their college-aged daughter. In her spare time, Heather loves hiking, cycling, reading, and competing in obstacle course races.

Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades, such as the Burlington County Chamber’s Voice of Business Award and recognition in South Jersey Biz’s “Executives of the Year.”

Why launch a separate, dedicated division?

Before Abacus, we frequently referred clients to third-party payroll providers – different people answering
the phones, revolving account reps and inconvenient processes. In 1999, we launched Abacus with a $500 investment and a computer to offer consistent, client-focused payroll services. This move eliminated middlemen, streamlined end-of-year tax planning, and improved coordination for our small business clients.

Any notable awards, achievements, milestones?

By 2022, Abacus achieved a 99.3% client retention rate, highlighting the stark difference in service quality compared to national providers. In 2019, we merged with Payroll Express, furthering our growth and reach.

This quarter our Alloy Spotlight is Anh Nguyen, CPA, a Senior Accountant at Alloy Silverstein.

Celebrating her fifth anniversary with Alloy Silverstein Accountants and Advisors later this year, Anh joined the team in 2019 after previously working a small firm in Barnegat, NJ. She received her B.S. in accounting and her MBA from Stockton University, and is a licensed CPA in the state of New Jersey.

Anh is a member of our Tax Committee and helps keep other staff members informed about business and individual tax changes. She provides tax, accounting, and auditing services to a variety of
clients and industries, which she appreciates as both a challenge and constant learning opportunity.

“This not only helps my career, but I also see it as an adventure. I get to learn more things not just related to my work, sometimes I use it in personal my life too.”

Anh grew up in Vietnam and moved to the United States when she was 19. Today, she resides in Egg Harbor Township with her family. Anh appreciates tax season being in the cold winter months so she can thoroughly enjoy the warm summer weather. Outside of work, you can find her singing karaoke with friends.

Sara Andrescavage joined the Abacus Payroll team this past May, bringing over five years of payroll and Human Resources experience to her role as a Payroll Specialist. Sara received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management from Rowan University and is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in HRM from Wilmington University. She is an active member in the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Sara’s areas of expertise include the day-to-day functions of HR, recruitment, onboarding, training and development, labor relations, and more. She strives for accuracy, timeliness, and improving efficiency when working with small businesses.

What do you love most about your job?

“ I really enjoy the payroll aspect of my job. Throughout my time here, I have gradually learned about each of the clients we have, and the different steps needed to process their payrolls.“

Adrienne joined the Alloy Silverstein team as a high school intern in 2006 and went on to receive her BA in Marketing from Rutgers-Camden in 2011 and her MA in Professional and Business Communication (PR) from La Salle University in 2014. She became the firm’s first full-time Director of Marketing in 2011, allocating her marketing expertise to all three divisions of the Alloy Silverstein Group.

In recent years, the firm’s marketing has grown from a department of one to an enthusiastic team of four. As Director, Adrienne strengthens Alloy Silverstein’s tax, finance, and payroll brand awareness as well as manages the Group’s four websites. She also coordinates community initiatives, including the firm’s ever-growing holiday Adopt-A-Family drive.

Named a 20 Under 40 by South Jersey Biz, today she is a member of the Association for Accounting Marketing, Impact100 South Jersey (where she serves on their PR Committee), and is involved with the local Chambers of Commerce.

A lifelong South Jersey native, Adrienne resides in Marlton with her husband, Chris, son, Luca, and their three dogs. She enjoys reading, traveling, learning photography, taking on DIY projects, spending time with friends and family, and making memories with her toddler.
