Abacus Payroll Inc., our affiliate payroll company, is seeking a part time/full-time payroll associate with no or limited experience, at our Hammonton, NJ office location.

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Payroll Associate to join our in-person team in Hammonton, NJ. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the payroll processing and tax compliance industry.  No prior experience is required – we provide on-the-job training and mentorship to help you succeed and grow your career.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with processing payroll for a variety of small business clients on different pay schedules.
• Support payroll tax compliance by learning how to submit tax payments and file returns.
• Help resolve tax notices and ensure accurate and timely filings with federal and state agencies.
• Learn to research payroll laws and stay current with compliance requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients to provide support and build strong working relationships.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality with sensitive employee and client data.

What We’re Looking For:

• A recent or upcoming graduate with a degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comfortable learning new software and working with Microsoft Office programs.
• Eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a collaborative office environment.
