Alloy Silverstein also has two core fundraisers each year, taking part in the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative as well as the United Way Employee Campaign, where it pledges over $10,000 annually.

“Before Christopher R. Cicalese, CPA, MSTFP, Associate Partner at Alloy Silverstein, based in Cherry Hill, prepares for tax season, he has to get through another season first – The giving season. At Alloy Silverstein, giving takes on a whole new meaning, and “giving back” is something that Chris takes personally.   

Alloy’s “Go Red for Women” initiative which raises funds on behalf of the American Heart Association started the firm’s culture of giving over a decade ago with the help of Chris’s father Reynold P. Cicalese, CPA, PFS, CGMA, managing shareholder of Alloy Silverstein who ingrained a spirit of giving back.  From there, the firm allowed the staff to wear jeans all tax season for a small donation.  According to Chris, “Every year we raise between $3,000 to $4,000.  Since 2007, we raised $98,000 and this year we should cross the $100,000 mark. 

Every year Alloy Silverstein selects a charity to give to and that year staff overwhelmingly selected Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) due to Chris’s connection with the hospital.  They continued to fund other initiatives at CHOP, which is the global leader in children’s healthcare, through its annual Cheers for CHOP event and even hosted a blood drive”

2025-26 Community Commitment Happenings:

Adopt A Family. Since 2013, we have been providing impoverished South Jersey families with presents for the holidays through our Adopt A Family program. Thanks to our generous network and employees, we were able to help 166 children this season.

Alloy Cares. On November 21, the team volunteered at the Animal Welfare Association (AWA), part of ongoing year-round  Alloy Cares efforts by our employees.

Go Red for Women. We raised over $4,500 for the American Heart Association’s 2026 Go Red for Women campaign, bringing our total contributions since 2008 to over $103,000.

Giving Back, All Year Long

Beyond firm-wide initiatives, Alloy Silverstein employees are encouraged to give back through personal Alloy Cares volunteer days. Team members dedicate time to causes that matter most to them across South Jersey, while the firm also hosts collection drives (canned food, backpacks, school supplies, pet shelter supplies) throughout the year supporting food banks, schools, and local organizations.
