The safety and security of our clients and employees is of the utmost importance. Effective Monday, March 23, 2020, Alloy Silverstein’s professional staff will begin working remotely. See details below about connecting with our team members during this time.
Limited personnel will be in our Cherry Hill and Hammonton offices. Effective March 2020, our updated office schedule is as follows:
• Monday through Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm
As of March 18, the tax filing deadline remains April 15, 2020. While we await clarity and guidance from the IRS, we strongly suggest clients submit their year-end information to us as soon as possible. See our article for more information→
On March 17, 2020 the U.S. Treasury announced that taxpayers can delay paying 2019 income taxes on as much as $1 million in taxes owed for up to 90 days (July 15, 2020). Note that this postponement on payments applies to federal returns. Check with your state’s tax deadlines and COVID-19 guidance to see if there are any changes to the state due dates.
We will keep you updated should there be any further changes.
For our key personnel members who remain in the office, know that Alloy Silverstein has taken extra precautions to sanitize and deep clean our offices and, with fewer team members present, can abide by recommended social distancing guidelines.
