On May 19, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced that they will stop accepting applications for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund grant program as of 8:00pm on Monday, May 24, 2021 (Eastern Time).
This announcement comes just days after media reports revealed that the SBA has received over 260,000 applications since May 3 totaling $65 billion in aid — for a program that has only been allocated $28.6 billion.
