(Cherry Hill, NJ) On January 14, 2026, Alloy Silverstein Accountants and Advisors hosted its Annual Externship Day event for area accounting students. The 2026 event accepted 20 students from area schools such as Rutgers University-Camden and New Brunswick, Stockton University, Rowan University, Washington College, and Thomas Edison State University.
Externship Day began in 2009 with the purpose of bringing outside-the-classroom awareness of the everyday life of the CPA profession to area college accounting majors. Speakers with assorted career paths and at varying staff levels speak throughout the day, covering topics such as resume and interview tips, CPA exam best practices, and what a typical work day is like.
