Adopt A Family with Alloy Silverstein

Each November–December, Alloy Silverstein coordinates the adoption of over 50 impoverished families that call Southern New Jersey home. Thanks to our generous participants and employees, we were able to bring holiday cheer to over 700 children and teenagers in local group homes since the start of our program back in 2013.

In addition to being a family activity, adopting a family this time of year is a great opportunity for law firms, bank branches, medical practices, and local offices to work together to make a difference in our local community.

Common donations for the children and teenagers include:

• Gift and toy wish list items
• Clothing and shoes
• Winter coats, gloves, scarves and socks
• Games and sports equipment (basketballs, footballs)
• Headphones
• School supplies
• Baby items such as diapers, wipes, bottles
• Household necessities (cleaning products, bedding, blankets, etc.)
• Non-perishable food items
• Cash donations
• Gifts cards to Shop-Rite, Wal-Mart, or towards shoes and clothing
