Fall 2016 Spotlight Employee: Anne D’Amico, CPA/PFS

Our spotlight this quarter is on Anne D’Amico, CPA, PFS.

Anne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers University and immediately began working at the firm in December 1988 as a junior accountant. Today she is an associate partner, licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.

Anne handles a wide variety of clients including medical practices, law firms, engineering firms, and retail and wholesale companies. She is active in the firm’s Marketing Committee and has authored numerous articles for the firm’s quarterly newsletter and outside publications.

Anne is also on the firm’s Hiring Committee, where she recruits and interviews prospective Alloy Silverstein team members. She enjoys training new staff and is driven by the word “retention,” with respect to the firm’s staff and the firm’s clients.

Anne achieved the AICPA Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) accreditation in 2000, a prestigious distinction shared by less than 5,000 CPAs nationwide. The most rewarding aspect of her career is referring clients to our sister company, Alloy Silverstein Financial Services, so they can work with our advisors to develop strategies and goals to reach their target retirement date and live a comfortable life afterward.

A Medford, New Jersey resident and proud to have been born and raised in South Jersey, Anne resides with her husband, Ren. She is now an empty-nester and has unlimited time on her hands for more hobbies than she can master successfully. She plays golf non-stop on the weekends, enjoys baking, plays the piano, reads books, and attends movies frequently.
