Alloy Silverstein to Host Free Personal Finance Webinar for Teens

August 12, 2020

Alloy Silverstein announces a complimentary webinar for teens ages 13-18 years old on the importance of money.

From earning to spending to saving, our experts will discuss the basics of personal finance with easy to understand terms and concepts to help our younger network get a head start in their financial lives.

It can be difficult for parents to start an open discussion with teenagers on money management, but it’s important to address these topics while they are still young enough to develop positive habits. Let our professionals give your child, grandchild, niece, or nephew the foundation for a sound, secure financial future today.

Topics covered will include:

  • Money Basics
    • What is money?
    • How do I get money?
    • What can I do with money?
  • What is a budget? Debt? Equity?
  • Why should I care about money now?
  • The importance of good habits and early investing
  • Q&A time

Whether your teenager is just starting a relationship with money (cash gifts, allowance) or they have their first job (lifeguard, babysitting, mowing lawns), it’s never too early to learn the basics of budgeting, investing, and debt.
