Now Collecting School Supplies for Kids in Need for ‘Project Backpack’

Join Alloy Silverstein in promoting academic achievement!

Once again this summer, Alloy Silverstein is proudly supporting Project Backpack for Center for Family Services. The annual backpack drive collects essential back-to-school items to help improve the chances for success for children in our South Jersey community by enabling them start off the new school year confident and ready to learn.

Donations Needed:

Gift cards to:

  • Target, Walmart, Staples and VISA

Pre-School:

  • New picture books for 3 & 4 year olds
  • Monetary donations to fill tote bags with at least 4 picture books per child

Elementary school:

  • New backpacks
  • School supplies (crayons, markers, pencils, glue sticks, etc.)

High School and College:

  • Sturdy backpacks for high school teens
  • School supplies (notebooks, pens, highlighters, binders, folders, etc.)
  • Monetary donations for books for teens enrolled in college*

 

(*For teens residing in Center for Family Services’ safe housing programs)

 

Donations can be dropped off at our Cherry Hill or Hammonton offices by Thursday, August 15.
