A Temple University graduate, Mike is an Associate Partner at Alloy Silverstein, having joined the team in 1977. He is certified in the state of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In addition to being an active member in the New Jersey Society of CPAs and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, Mike is specifically a member of the Tax Division of the American Institute of CPAs.
With nearly 40 years of experience of advising clients in tax and business matters, Mike has developed a specialty in representing law firms, medical practices, real estate developers, professional athletes, and not-for-profit organizations. He handles complex tax matters and has earned the American Institute of CPAs’ Certificate of Achievement in Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held Businesses. As part of his expertise and knowledge in tax, he has lectured on tax related topics and recent tax law changes before various groups. Mike chairs the firm’s internal Individual Tax Committee, keeping our team members updated and aware of important updates.
Getting to Know Mike
Mike enjoys traveling with his wife and his adventures have varied from riding in a hot air balloon to renting a villa in Tuscany. A very loyal Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan, he originally wanted to be a baseball player when he grew up and can often be found at Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field. Mike is a big time golfer and longtime South Jersey resident, currently residing in Voorhees. He continues to be active in his community and values our South Jersey location due to the variety one can experience all within a day’s drive – the shore, mountains, and great cities like Philadelphia and New York.
