Bookkeeper

Open Opportunity:

Alloy Silverstein, a regional public accounting firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and financial tasks for clients in various industries. Bookkeeper responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling G/L accounts. You will also run accounting software programs (QuickBooks and/or Xero) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, and disbursements.

Requirements

  • Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and or Xero. Minimum 3 years experience.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
  • Well organized
  • 5 years of Accounting / Bookkeeping Experience
