What experienced hires bring to the Alloy Silverstein team:

Ideal candidates are highly motivated with strong communication and analytical skills and are proficient in various tax application software packages. Prospective team members should have current knowledge of all industry and government regulations regarding tax matters and experience reviewing various corporate tax returns, financial statements and year-end tax audits, along with completing individual and corporate tax returns, estimated income taxes, and assuring compliance with federal, state and local tax laws and regulations. Experience using Xero is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns

• Oversee audits, reviews, and compilations for clients across diverse industries

• Assist in tax planning, research, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Supervise and mentor staff and junior accountants through ongoing engagements

• Maintain high standards of work quality and ensure deadlines are met

• Collaborate with partners and team members to deliver proactive client solutions

• Engage in client meetings and communicate complex accounting matters effectively

• Contribute to business development and firm growth initiatives

• Participate in internal training, process improvement, and firm innovation

Qualified Candidates:

• CPA designation preferred (or in active progress toward certification)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field

• Minimum of 2+ years of public accounting experience

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations

• Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software; experience with Xero is a plus

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Salary Range

DOE; Starting at $60,000 per year for 2+ years of experience.

This position is on-site at our Cherry Hill, NJ or Hammonton, NJ office locations.
